Think & Drink Different is a live talk—by a leading expert, in a bar, for curious minds. 
You come for the ideas, stay for the conversation, and often leave with a new perspective (and a few new people). It’s a growing community for those who enjoy learning in a relaxed setting—with a drink of your choice, alcoholic or not.

We currently host two talks per month, and we’re building toward a full program across topics and locations. Most talks are in English, some in Dutch. Each event page clearly lists the topic, language, speaker, time, and location—so you always know what to expect.

It’s for anyone who enjoys learning, thinking, and asking questions. Whether you’re in academia or just curious about the world—you’ll fit right in.
Coming solo? Many do. The vibe is open, relaxed, and welcoming.

We believe big ideas don’t belong behind university walls. Our mission is to bring academic knowledge into public life—where it can spark debate, curiosity, and connection. We make learning social again: real experts, real people, real conversations.
It’s not about dumbing things down. It’s about opening them up.
