About the talk
Decisions: they're the invisible currents that shape every moment of your life. From what you scroll through on your phone to the career path you choose, your life is a tapestry woven from countless choices.
And what is the hidden language of those choices? Economics.
It's more than just markets and money. Economics is the study of what pushes and pulls you - the fundamental incentives that explain why you went for that impulsive, 2 a.m. shot of tequila, or why you're saving for something you might never need.
Every day, you make microeconomic decisions that ripple through your life, from choosing breakfast to managing your time.
And guess what? Government policies are subtly shaping those choices, too.
Ready to see how Buddhist principles, global trade, and yes, even condom usage, are all fundamentally about scarce resources and choice?
Get ready to look at life differently. Welcome to ECON = LIFE.
